HOW BOOKING WORKS
As of this week, we have 400+ people on the waitlist and 450+ people who got first doses with us who we are responsible for second doses for. We run a two-step booking system and are currently giving Pfizer vaccines.
Step 1, you add yourself to the waitlist.
Step 2, you get a call or booking link by e-mail as vaccination appointment space opens up, doses come in, and your wait list position can be processed into a guaranteed vaccination.
Currently, the time between joining the waitlist and getting a link/booking is a few weeks. While on the wait list, you are free to seek out other earlier arrangements elsewhere. You can check here weekly on Mondays to see how we are doing on processing the waitlist. With current supply, space and staffing we can do at most 150 vaccines a week. If you are booked, a dose and administration time was set aside just for you so please try to stick to the appointment or cancel as soon as you know you’ve changed your mind.
We have no Astra Zeneca vaccine at this time. People who got a first dose here will be contacted via e-mail or phone in 8 weeks after their first dose (starting mid-June) and will likely get Pfizer but there is a chance we will receive Astra Zeneca vaccine again.
We have no Moderna vaccine and won’t be getting any as per government plan.
We are doing first dose and second doses up until July when the government wants us to start re-vaccinating our first dose Astra Zeneca recipients.
Second doses are available for those who got at first dose before April 19th, those 70+, and people with special conditions at a reduced interval (ie. asap). The government would like everyone else to wait 16 weeks until further notice otherwise.
